This is truly an exciting time for Mozambique Orphanage Fund (MOF). As many of you know, our organization has grown by leaps and bounds since our humble beginnings in 2009. Along with this growth has come an increase in work load and responsibilities, which now exceed what a strictly volunteer board can manage.
Because of this exciting growth, we are taking new steps to address our evolving needs! We are thrilled to introduce our new part-time Executive Director, Sarah Bollinger! Sarah comes to us with a wealth of experience in non-profit leadership and social justice work. Prior to this position, Sarah served as the Associate Director of the Mozambique Initiative, and has been a volunteer on our board for two years. Sarah is passionate about the people of Mozambique and is committed to advocating for orphans. Sarah is a clinical social worker by training; she has a Master of Social Work degree from New York University and a PhD in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis. She will be splitting her time between her work for MOF and her private counseling practice in Nashville, TN. We could not be more thrilled about this next step!
As we move into this new chapter, we would love to hear from you! We are updating our website, contact list, and database in hopes of expanding the work that we do. We would love for you to connect anew by filling out our contact form and sending us a note.
As she enters her new role as Executive Director, Sarah would love to know:
- How are you involved in the work of MOF?
- Have you been to Mozambique? Do you want to go?
- How can we help to connect you or your congregation to the work of MOF in new ways?
- Are you interested in meeting Sarah or having her visit your group? Let us know!
This work is truly not possible without you, our supporters and co-laborers. As we look toward an exciting future, it’s more important than ever to recommit to our mission of uplifting orphans and vulnerable children in Mozambique. This wouldn’t be possible without your generosity and we are so grateful for your support!
